本作值得称道的地方除了华丽的战斗以外，还有就是值得研究练习的established off系统，简单讲就是玩家在输入连技输到一半的时候，如果需要紧靠回避，只要按住Y不松开，在回避动作结束后可以把刚才的连招继续。不过这个系统非常容易被敌人的战斗节奏打乱，想熟练的使出并不容易，比《怪物猎人increase》的居合要难得多，后者只需要熟悉怪物的动作就能成功，前者对输入的要求高太多。虽然成功后的成就感爆棚，但这种超高难度的系统已经不适合现在玩家的需求。
《斯普拉遁》非常富有创意的采用了另外一种决定输赢的方式——涂地面积（占地模式）。这就让游戏的输赢从人技术水平高低，转嫁或者说大部分转嫁到了队伍水平的高低上面。很多时候输赢不是因为某个玩家，而是队伍整体的配合程度。
